It’s pouring into yourself in a way that you never have before. It’s taking intentional time to learn new things about yourself.

Below are microhabits intended to help you glow up from the inside out. A glow up would be a glow up without you refining, reflecting and implementing the necessary steps that work best for you.

This post is all about glow up tips!

1.Connect with God

Your glow up starts from within and connecting with the One that created you.

Many times you enter your glow up season thinking that you have to do it alone or that you have to have it all figured out but in fact it’s the complete opposite.

Your glow up happens because of Him.

Physical glows up are amazing and we’ll get to that but the glow up you’re about to step into gives you a different glow.

Whether you pray, journal, worship, serve, etc tap into something that works for you.

Pour your cup first. Let God tell you who you are before this world tries to. Let your love overflow onto others.

2. Define glow up

What does glow up mean to you? Does it mean more self care?

Does it mean more resting? Does it mean more traveling?

Glow up should mean more you really leaning into the things that make you feel like you.

Reflect on your why. Why do you want to start a glow up journey?

What are the things that you want to start?

More investments into yourself like time, resources, knowledge, new experiences is something essential for your glow up.

For example, if you want to start working out, investing in a gym membership, Personal Trainer, workout guides is a great start to help you along your journey.

This is only the beginning. Where do you see yourself in the next 6 months? Where do you want to be in the next 6 months?

5. Hydration is key

This is one of those microhabits that you need to start implementing into your daily routine. Water should be your go-to beverage

Increased hydration will help you flush toxins out of your body, decrease constipation, keep your skin glowing, and aid in weight loss.

Practice hydrating between meals and before your bigger meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Have you ever heard the saying, sometimes it is not always that you’re super hungry it’s that you’re thirsty.

Staying hydrated will keep you from overeating during any of your meals. It will also help you make smarter options when you do eat.

If you know you go to lunch starving and don’t drink water until you’re ready for lunch, a microhabit you can add between that timespan is drinking water.

This will help you make smarter choices concerning your meals.

I’m sure you’ve seen this cup all over Amazon. I carry this with me at work, while I’m running errands, at the gym, etc.
