The BEST Dairy Free Healthy Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Let’s get into the best healthy peppermint hot chocolate!
It’s that time of year where you want to indulge and there’s no shame in it! Take your favorite drink like hot chocolate. What if I told you there was a healthier way you could drink it.
I mean you could go back fro seconds and thirds even. The secret ingredient? EarthChimp protein powder!

This recipe is one serving. Feel free to double if you’re making for more than one person.
The Ingredients:
1/2 cup milk ( I used coconut. You can use oat, almond, etc.)
1/2 water (for consistency)
1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
2 TBSP maple syrup (or your preferred sweetener)
1 TSP peppermint extract
The Toppings:
Crushed candy canes
Lily’s chocolate chips
Dairy free whipped cream
The Recipe:
Combine 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, 1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 TBSP maple syrup and 1 TSP peppermint extract to a pot on medium to low heat. Slow whisk these ingredients.
After these are warm, remove from heat and slowly add in 2 scoops of Earth Chimp Protein Powder. Continue to whisk these ingredients until all ingredients are mixed well.
Pour your peppermint hot chocolate into your favorite mug and add whipped cream, crushed candy canes and chocolate chips.
