Being confident in yourself is deeply rooted in your identity. It’s about knowing that you are on this earth for a reason in spite of feeling like you’re lost and without a purpose.

Confidence is waking up knowing that regardless of your situation, you are here for a reason. The things that you might find insignificant just might the most significant things

The key to confidence is staying true to yourself. Stay in your lane. Go after your dreams and the things that are meant to be, will be.

1. Confidence is a daily choice

True confidence is not something you wake up and “have”. It’s a daily choice. You choose to stick to your routines that help you feel your best. You choose to have the mindset knowing that you are more than capable to handle the obstacles that are in front of you.

Self discipline is one of the biggest form on self love. Showing up for yourself takes your confidence to another level. When you show yourself, you get addicted to the feeling and it becomes a lot easier to start doing the same for others. Best part of it is, others feed off of your confidence and it inspires them to do the same!

2. What lights your soul?

You know those things that light your soul? Yes! Do more of that! It lights your soul for a reason!

When you tap into things that make you feel your best, your soul shines. When your soul shines, this is when your confidence really starts to shine. It’s the inner glow.

This is for you to dictate. Trust yourself. Trust that your ideas were given to you for a reason. Put the work in! Stay consistent. Watch the fruits of your labor not only help you, but help others.

3. Yes, confidence boost are real

Although confidence heavily relies on how you feel about yourself, sometimes you just need a confidence boost.

Take care of yourself. Take pride in your outward appearance. Choose to do your hair and makeup. Buy the new outfit. On somedays, this will make all the difference.

Take yourself out. Get dressed up for yourself. What makes you feel good?

It’s called a boost for a reason, right? This should not be something you solely rely on as it will most likely leave you feeling empty.

It’s not always about the hair and makeup. How are you showing up for yourself? How are you showing for others? How are you trying to better yourself?

Pay attention to how you speak to others. Pay attention to how you speak to others. The tongue is a powerful tool. How are you using it?

4. Step out of your comfort zone

Stepping out of your comfort zone will challenge you in a different way, but it’s necessary for your growth.

You know that thing you’ve always wanted to try, but thought “there’s no way” “this is way bigger than me”

If the vision is for you, there is a way and no it’s not bigger than you! It may seem bigger than you, but baby steps. You’re stepping outside of your comfort zone for a reason. It’s not suppossed to be comfortable.

This process shows you that you CAN do hard things! Stepping out your comfort zone is possible.

5. Love on yourself

One of the easiest ways to love on yourself and lock in that confidence is to write a list of everything you LOVE about yourself. Don’t hold back. Don’t be critical.

Write down things that you love about your body, your mind, your spirit, your soul. Try not to be too critical of yourself. There’s so much to love about yourself.

If it helps you, make this a daily habit. Confidence is something you have to build. Please don’t feel like confidence is something you have once you look a certain way or achieve a specific goal. You can be confident right now right where you are at.

There’s practicality behind confidence. Take yourself on a date. Get dressed up. Wear the outfit you’ve always wanted to wear.

Embrace the real you. Don’t put yourself in a box.
